The Center for Critical Infrastructure Protection (CCIP), located at the Transportation Technology Center (TTC) in Pueblo, Colorado serves critical infrastructure organizations in their Cyber and Physical Security training, assessment, testing, and protection needs.

This Railway Cybersecurity Quick Course hosted by CCIP is a 3-hour live, accelerated course intended for all railway professionals to quickly understand the current state of railway cybersecurity and add associated regulation. The course will also cover core fundamentals of cybersecurity and how it applies to railway operations.

Attendees of the quick course will have an opportunity to ask questions to our cybersecurity subject matter experts.

By attending the course, professionals will achieve a baseline understanding of railway cybersecurity to be better equipped for upcoming increased cybersecurity activities in their organizations.

Erin Plemons joined ENSCO in September 2017 and has over 10 years of experience in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, digital forensics, and in-classroom instruction. In her current role, Erin has developed eight courses covering a wide range of cybersecurity topics. In addition to instructing these classes, Erin has performed over 50 compliance, vulnerability, and penetration assessments for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force, and industry networks. She has also supported Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including system categorization, control selection, implementation, and authorization across multiple U.S. Space Force systems. Prior to her time at ENSCO, Erin served at the Navy Information Operations Command, where she performed Computer Network Defense (CND) assessments, rapid incident response, and Naval afloat training.

In her free time, Erin is an adjunct professor at New York University (NYU) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison). Erin has a master’s degree in Digital Forensics and holds multiple internationally recognized cybersecurity certifications, including Certified Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Comptia Security +.
