ENSCO to Showcase Support for Surface Transportation Industry at TRB Annual Meeting

Washington, D.C. – January 3, 2025

ENSCO, Inc., a longtime leader in rail technology, will promote its expanded services for the Surface Transportation Industry during the Transportation Research Board (TRB) 104th Annual Meeting. The event takes place January 5-9, 2025, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

In addition to its cutting-edge rail technology, ENSCO has broadened its focus to support a wider range of surface transportation sectors, including trucking, pipelines, and emerging technologies. As the operator of the Transportation Technology Center (TTC) on behalf of the Federal Rail Administration (FRA), ENSCO provides research, testing, and training services to a diverse group of stakeholders, including manufacturers, suppliers, government agencies, universities, and research institutions. The 52-square-mile TTC serves as a world-class testing and research facility, providing essential resources for performance assessments, safety testing, and advanced infrastructure research, helping organizations meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

ENSCO also offers training programs in both traditional classroom settings and hybrid environments through the Center for Critical Infrastructure Protection (CCIP) at TTC. CCIP’s educational initiatives focus on cybersecurity and how it can be leveraged to protect critical infrastructure.
