To expand on the JRC’s theme of Intelligent Railroading, ENSCO thought leaders will be sharing recent papers and addressing the ways technology can be used to make railroads safer for workers and travelers.
On Wednesday, April 12 from 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m., Alejandro Alvarez-Reyes will be presenting Investigating the Contributing factors to VSR wheel Failures in North American Freight Railways Using Finite Element Analysis.
On Thursday, April 13 from 9–10:30 a.m., Serkan Sandikcioglu will be presenting Cell Phone Data Based Approach for Prevention of Trespass Casualties on Railroad Track.
On Thursday, April 13 from 1:45–3:15 p.m., Dr. Rakan Alturk will be presenting Tie Reaction Measurement Under Static Loading Using Rail Mounted Strain Gauges.
On Thursday, April 13 from 3:15–5:15 p.m., Cory Hogan will be presenting Automated Predictive Vehicle Dynamics Simulations for a Large-Scale Heavy Haul Network.
Additionally, on Thursday, April 13, Dr. Alturk will participate as a session chair for track 1-4 from 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m., and Mr. Sandikcioglu will be a session chair for track 1-5 from 1:45–3:15 p.m.
