ENSCO Rail (ENSCO), a leader in railway track inspection technology will be giving multiple presentations at the 28th Annual Wheel Rail Interaction Conference (WRI) on June 7-9, in Minneapolis, MN. ENSCO thought leaders will be sharing research and insights within the Principles Course and the Heavy Haul Seminar of WRI.
On Wednesday, June 7, as part of the Principles Course, ENSCO speakers will be part of the following presentations:
- At 8:25-9 a.m., Session 1: Introduction to Wheel-Rail Contact Mechanics, will be presented by Eric Magel, Principle Engineer with the Automotive and Surface Transportation program at the National Research Council of Canada and Acting Manager of R&D at ENSCO.
- At 4:05-4:40 p.m., Session 8: Vehicle-Track Measurement Technologies, will be presented by Matt Dick, Rail Division Manager at ENSCO.
On Friday, June 9, as part of the Heavy Haul Seminar, speakers from ENSCO will be part of the following presentations:
- At 8:20-8:50 a.m., Automated Track Geometry Inspection: Where We Are on the Regulatory Front, and the Current State of the Art will be presented by Matt Dick, Rail Division Manager at ENSCO, and Daniel Baker, from the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).
- At 2:30-3 p.m., Managing Rolling Contact Fatigue will be presented by Eric Magel, Principle Engineer with the Automotive and Surface Transportation program at the National Research Council of Canada and Acting Manager of R&D at ENSCO.
