Team members from ENSCO, Inc. volunteered their time during the annual Wreaths Across America event on Saturday, December 14 at nine locations around the country.
ENSCO employees joined more than two million supporters who gathered at 4,600-plus participating locations in all 50 states, at sea, and abroad. In our nation’s Capital, volunteers set out to place a wreath on the grave of all 260,000 veterans who are buried at Arlington National Cemetery, one of the largest veteran cemeteries in the U.S.
Through the sacred act of laying a wreath and saying the name of each veteran aloud, this annual tradition seeks to remember and honor America’s fallen heroes.
ENSCO served as a corporate sponsor for the event, providing 300 wreaths for placement at Arlington National Cemetery. Supporting Wreaths Across America is a way to recognize those who have given their lives to ensure Americans’ freedoms are safeguarded for generations to come.
