Chris Depa, ENSCO’s Deputy Director of Cybersecurity, has stepped down as chairman of the PPBEA Regional Career Pathway Advisory, Computer Science, Cybersecurity & IT Board.

ENSCO, Inc. is proud to support student career development, with the continuation of its leadership at the Pikes Peak Business & Education Alliance (PPBEA) Regional Career Pathway Advisory, Computer Science, Cybersecurity & IT Board.

ENSCO Deputy Director of Cybersecurity Chris Depa concluded a three-year tenure as chairman of the 12-person board earlier this month. Richard Kittle, a senior cybersecurity expert for ENSCO, was nominated and confirmed to serve as the board’s new co-chairman.

As a founding member, Depa served on the board for three years, helping to connect industry stakeholders with educators to provide certification and education guidance. He remains on the board, continuing his service as an industry at-large member. As co-chair, Kittle brings more than 25 years of experience leading penetration testing and assessments around the world for both industry and as a Cyber Operator in the U.S. Air Force.

ENSCO employees have fostered an environment that encourages young minds to think bigger and provides them with the tools and support to turn those thoughts into action.

In 2023, through the aligned efforts of participating partners, the board’s efforts facilitated the connection of more than 10,000 K-12 students and staff with career exploration and training opportunities that accelerate student career development. From 2020 to 2024, the ENSCO team contributed nearly 300 hours of their time, impacting more than 650 students by hosting job shadows and internships, coordinating and partaking in speaker panels, and running and attending a cyber board to increase teacher and industry engagement. ENSCO employees have fostered an environment that encourages young minds to think bigger and provides them with the tools and support to turn those thoughts into action. ENSCO remains committed to this effort in the Pikes Peak region of Colorado.
