Springfield, Va., April 4, 2019
The Aerospace Science and Engineering Division of ENSCO and ENSCO Avionics will participate in the 35th National Space Symposium, April 8-11, in Colorado Springs, Colo., exhibiting in booth 1510.
The Aerospace Science and Engineering Division will showcase its expertise in the Autonomous Flight Safety System (AFSS), which it supported for launches in New Zealand and is using in its Range Network Systems Engineering and Integration (RN SE&I) program. AFSS replaces man-in-the-loop with an on-board computer system, flight-certified hardware, and public domain software. This safety system was chosen as the 2019 recipient of the National Interagency Partnership Award from the Federal Laboratory Consortium and is sponsored by NASA-Kennedy Space Center.
ENSCO Avionics will exhibit its IData® Tool Suite, an innovative, advanced Human Machine Interface (HMI) software toolkit for creating and deploying embedded software display applications. IData offers advanced features with seamless integrations for 2D and 3D digital moving maps.
“ENSCO is proud to participate in the National Space Symposium,” states ENSCO President Boris Nejikovsky. “The conference is the premiere event for bringing together space leaders from around the world. It offers an excellent opportunity for ENSCO to showcase our work in the aerospace domain and demonstrate our technologies contributing to the advancement of the United States space program.”
