ENSCO's Portable Track Loading Fixture (PTLF) is an easy-to-use, manually operated track inspection tool designed to test the lateral strength of railroad crossties and fastening systems.

ENSCO’s manually operated Portable Track Loading Fixture (PTLF) measures to American Railway Engineering Maintenance-of-way Association (AREMA) and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) standards for gage strength.

The fixture measures the effectiveness of corrective actions taken as a result of the inspection. Equipping your maintenance crew with a PTLF is comparable to giving them the power of a Gage Restraint Measuring System (GRMS) on their tool belt.

PTLF is based on research sponsored by the FRA and ENSCO internal research and development.
