ENSCO is a leader in the development of autonomous track inspection systems, providing reliable, fully autonomous systems that can be installed on passenger or freight cars used in revenue service. The systems offer advantages over traditional manned systems; they operate uninterrupted, more frequently, and without operators onboard. This results in a more cost-effective approach for maintenance planning and railway standards compliance.

Vehicle/Track Interaction (V/TI) Monitor

ENSCO's Vehicle/Track Interaction (VTI) Monitor is a proactive, autonomous maintenance planning system that provides continuous safety monitoring of track conditions without impacting revenue service.
ENSCO's Vehicle/Track Interaction (VTI) Monitor is a proactive, autonomous maintenance planning system that provides continuous safety monitoring of track conditions without impacting revenue service.

The ENSCO autonomous Vehicle/Track Interaction (V/TI) Monitor is installed on revenue vehicles to access the condition of track and vehicles to provide real-time monitoring and proactive maintenance planning.

The V/TI measures ride quality; wheel/rail impacts, such as battered and broken joints; and short-chord track surface conditions, such as mud spots and pumping joints. Identified risk conditions are transmitted via cellular network and are received as email alerts and viewed in TrackIT®.

The V/TI Monitor is based on research sponsored by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and ENSCO’s internal research and development.

Autonomous Track Geometry Measurement System (ATGMS)

Autonomous Track Geometry Measurement System - Autonomous, cost-effective measurement system for maintenance planning and to meet railway standards
Autonomous, cost-effective measurement system for maintenance planning and to meet railway standards

Perform track geometry inspection on your track assets more frequently and at a lower overall cost to your operations with ENSCO’s ATGMS.

The ATGMS is an autonomous, real-time system that measures and reports track geometry exceptions, including gage, crosslevel, warp, twist, surface, and alignment, thus reducing your cost of operation.

ATGMS works in conjunction with TrackIT® Web application and provides all the reports you need to meet the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) safety standards.

ATGMS is based on research sponsored by the FRA and ENSCO’s internal research and development.
