Falls Church, Va., July 17, 2008—ENSCO and its 12 teammates have been awarded acceptance into the SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) electronic procurement program.
SeaPort-e enables electronic procurement of engineering, technical and programmatic support services by NAVSEA's Warfare Center community. This Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract enables ENSCO to compete for task orders totaling $10 billion over 10 years, if all options are exercised.
“We are very pleased with the award and are extremely honored. We look forward to a long-term partnership with the Navy in support of their missions,” said ENSCO President, Alan Bell.
The government estimates a maximum of $5,300,000,000 of services will be procured per year via orders issued under the SeaPort-e multiple award contracts. The awards have a one-year base period with one five-year award term and one additional four-year award term. The award of these contracts is a result of the SeaPort-e Rolling Admissions solicitation.
SeaPort-e helps naval activities reduce costs and promote business efficiencies in the effort to lead the Navy on a successful course. All NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVSUP, MSC, NAVFAC, SSP, ONR, DTRA and USMC contracting officers can order from the SeaPort-e contract.
