International technology company will provide remote sensing products and services to support the NOAA critical mission.
Springfield, VA – June 30, 2023
ENSCO, Inc., an international technology company that provides leading-edge engineering, science, and advanced technology solutions to governments and private industries, has been awarded a ProTech 2.0 Satellite Domain Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract to provide support to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). ENSCO provides systems engineering and integration (SE&I) services as well as sensor technology development for civil, military, and national security agencies.
ENSCO develops advanced architectures, including cyber architectures for federated satellite telemetry, tracking, and control (TT&C) network evolutions. This includes the current communications technology integration activities for the ENSCO-conceived, developed, and implemented collaborative effort between, NOAA’s National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) and the United States Space Force (USSF). ENSCO also provides SE&I support to remote sensing missions; cloud, ground, and space-based data transport; remote sensing data product development; data distribution; and communications technology integration. ENSCO brings to NOAA advanced capabilities for remote sensing technology development; modeling and simulation; and integrated sensor network development for atmospheric, subsurface, and water transport and environmental fate prediction and management.
ENSCO has offices across the United States, Australia, and Brazil. Their diverse customer base enables them to stay abreast of emerging technologies and opportunities for interagency collaboration so they can develop in risk-mitigated resilient architectural roadmaps and products like they are doing for NESDIS today.
“We are honored to be selected by NOAA to provide innovative approaches, technologies, products, and services for their mission to collect, preserve, and disseminate remote sensing data. ENSCO is proud to support critical national missions like this that have a direct impact on our daily lives,” said Kevin Pruett, Executive Vice President of Mission Systems Group at ENSCO. “This award is the result of the hard work of our remarkably talented and dedicated staff. We look forward to our continued and expanded support to NOAA and their critical mission to our Nation.”
