ENSCO Data Link Integrated Solutions LINK 16

Experience you can trust

ENSCO’s engineers have more than 25 years experience in the integration and implementation of Tactical Data Link systems into multiple platforms.

ENSCO's Tactical Data Link Services-LINK 16, TADIL J, SADLOur engineers have been at the forefront of LINK-16 and Situation Awareness Data Link (SADL)/ Enhanced Position Location and Reporting System (EPLRS) requirements definition, integration, facility design and development, systems integration and test, and certification. Our subject matter experts can help design and implement a streamlined development plan to integrate the right tactical Data Link solution into your platform.

Using a detailed perspective, we provide independent and unbiased assessments of your Data Link design and implementation needs; we then offer recommendations tailored to your specific mission. From requirements to in-service modifications, our team provides cost-effective support at any stage of your LINK-16 or SADL/EPLRS implementation through completion of the service/governmental approval process. These flexible and agile services can either be provided at your site or remotely from a number of ENSCO sites.

iSMART Approach

ENSCO utilizes the Interoperable Systems Management and Requirements Transformation (iSMART) process, a repeatable systems engineering process that is the internationally accepted means to achieve visibility of interoperability challenges in the development of information systems and communications media, including tactical data links. It provides analysis of interoperability across operational and strategic data communications systems as well as down to the tactical edge where the warfighter is located. As an early proponent of iSMART on programs such as A-10 and MH-60, we have seen that platforms that implemented iSMART early in the acquisition cycle realized the benefits of planned interoperability such as early problem detection and correction, realized critical and timely cost savings, and the end product was a detailed documentation of a platform’s information exchange capability.

Whether you need a partner, a total solution, or engineering expertise to complement your own, ENSCO will respond to your business needs with a value-added solution.

“If you are not Link 16 (TADIL J) capable, you will not be welcomed on the US Battlefield and, in fact, you will be considered a blue on blue engagement generator – a threat to friendly and coalition forces.”
