Nejikovsky has more than 25 years of experience with advanced technology and engineering applications for the civil engineering and transportation industries. In particular, he has made significant contributions to railroad safety technology.
Nejikovsky will be responsible for ensuring ENSCO’s success and growth in the rail technology market. Specifically, Nejikovsky will lead ENSCO’s Rail Technologies Division in applying its unique capabilities to enhance railroad safety and efficiency. “ENSCO has been providing rail safety products and services to government and commercial organizations for more than 38 years. Our experienced team supports our customers with the tools, technologies and consulting services that they need to conduct day-to-day operations and meet their transportation safety and efficiency objectives,” Nejikovsky said. “Our actions, responsiveness and performance demonstrate to our customers that we stand behind our products and are committed to helping them meet their toughest transportation and safety challenges.”
"Boris has demonstrated his ability to lead ENSCO’s Rail Technologies Division into the future. He knows the railroad community and is well respected in it, he knows the technology and how to apply it to create and deliver the products and services our customers need, and he has a terrific team of technologists, managers and support staff behind him. What more can one ask for in a leader,’ said ENSCO Chairman and CEO Paul Broome.
With a focus on continued growth, Nejikovsky stated that developing ENSCO’s Vehicle/Track Interaction consulting services and vehicle and track testing solutions is a strategic priority. Our customers can benefit from ENSCO’s diversified background and strong capabilities in solving the toughest vehicle performance and vehicle/track interaction problems. With experience on both track and vehicle sides of the railroad operations, ENSCO brings its customers comprehensive solutions to improve reliability and safety of their operations.
Nejikovsky joined ENSCO in January 1993 as a senior engineer. He quickly advanced to the positions of staff engineer and chief engineer and helped design and integrate many of the Rail Technologies Division’s products, such as the Portable Ride Quality Measurement System, Gage Restraint Measurement System, Laser Gage, Rail Profile Measurement System, Autonomous Vehicle/Track Interaction Monitors, and Joint Bar Inspection System.
In August 2008, Nejikovsky was promoted to Acting Division Manager of the Rail Technologies Division. He and his team worked hard in the intervening months to ensure a strong financial base for the division, a competitive position to capture new work, and the technological edge needed by ENSCO’s customers. As a result of these efforts, Boris was recognized by ENSCO management and the Board of Directors when he was promoted to Vice President at the February Board of Directors’ meeting.
