We employ a number of simulation and data generation tools to evaluate the ability of the system to perform under nominal and non-nominal conditions. Since 1989, ENSCO has developed mathematical models and simulators to reduce the risks associated with range instrumentation modernization programs. Using these tools to create test data and simulate sensor input, we can conduct performance testing at a point in the development cycle that is significantly earlier than a traditional test program, resulting in lower cost and lower risk solutions.
Since 1989, ENSCO, Inc. has developed mathematical models and simulators to reduce the risks associated with range instrumentation modernization programs. ENSCO’s Real-time Instrumentation Simulation Environment (RISE) system is an advanced range instrumentation or missile simulator used to evaluate range safety and mission-critical systems for the U.S. aerospace test ranges. Our RISE system creates and manages multiple sessions to test the readiness of real-time mission-critical systems, investigate complex “what if” scenarios and perform operator training through the seamless integration of recorded and simulated data.
ENSCO also offers a generic simulation toolset called Simulation, Testing and Recording System (STARS) that enables end users to build custom simulations for any application including aerospace, automotive or industrial control.
Modeling scenarios for testing or training is important when the physical environment is either too expensive to secure or impossible to replicate. ENSCO has extensive experience modeling mission scenarios to emulate nominal or anomalous situations to verify system performance or evaluate operator interactions without risk to life or physical assets.
As a specialized application, ENSCO has developed sophisticated atmospheric modeling tools that predict the behavior of a cloud of toxic material released into the environment. ENSCO provides tools for safety personnel to make informed decisions regarding the evolving incident in order to protect life and property.
